National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims

November 17, 2010, during the WHO Re-designation event, road crash victims  were remembered along with their friends and families who were impacted by the loss or injury of a loved one.  IMPACT, a photo & story exposé of local people either injured or killed in collisions, was unveiled and put on display for the public.  The dedication of Legacy Tree, bench and plaque in remembrance of road crash victims was announced. An official dedication will take place during National Safe Roads Week. For more details on this event, please contact Elaine at 780-743-0006.

Legacy Tree is located in Borealis Park and will have a plaque and bench added in the Spring 2011 that is dedicated to the remembrance of those impacted by road collisions.
