Walk On… at the mall

Walk On is an Alberta Health Services health initiative designed to help promote active living and to prevent, reduce and manage chronic diseases. This program is suitable for older adults or for individuals who would benefit from the positive effects of low impact exercise. Mall Walking is a low impact, easy way to exercise and to practice a healthy lifestyle. The program is free and offers a safe, climate controlled environment with level ground to prevent falls and facilitate easy walking. Participants are also encouraged to achieve distance goals and socialize with other participants.
